VEDAMO Virtual Classroom is an online live teaching platform. It combines multi-peer video-conferencing and collaborative group features:

1. Videoconferencing - see and hear up to 25 participants simultaneously
2. Interactive whiteboard - share various types of teaching materials and engage your participants in collaborative activities using the tools for creating, editing and presenting learning content
3. Media player - use various multimedia materials and share YouTube videos during your live online classes
4. Session templates - create and reuse content templates, which save all learning materials arranged by you in the virtual classroom
5. Breakout rooms - conduct small group activities and assign individual tasks in separate working spaces
6. Screen-sharing - demonstrate external software or multimedia applications by sharing your screen with the participants
7. Session recordings - watch the past sessions interactive playback to analyze and improve your online classes

Get integration credentials from Vedamo

Use the steps below to locate integration credentials from Vedamo for the Canvas system.

1. Create an account at vedamo.com and make sure you are logged.
2. Go to your Vedamo dashboard
3. From the side menu select Integrations
4. Select Canvas
5. Click on the Enable LTI integration button
6. It will generate a table with three rows – Consumer Key, Shared Secret and Launch URL. You will need them to integrate the Virtual Classroom in Canvas.

Integration in Canvas

Use the steps below to install Vedamo Virtual Classroom within the Canvas system. You need to be site administrator.

1. Login to Canvas
2. Select the Admin tab
3. Select Settings
4. Select the Apps tab
5. Click on +App button
6. In the modal window:
   • Configuration Type - choose By URL
   • Name field - enter Vedamo Virtual Classroom
   • Consumer Key field - enter the Consumer key from the Vedamo dashboard table
   • Shared Secret field - enter the Shared Secret from the Vedamo dashboard table
   • Launch URL - enter the Launch URL from the Vedamo dashboard table
7. Click on Submit to add the app to the system

Integration of the Virtual Classroom in a single course

Use the steps below to install Vedamo Virtual Classroom within the Canvas course.

1. Login to Canvas
2. Select a course that will use Vedamo Virtual Classroom
3. Select Settings
4. Select the Apps tab
5. Click on +App button
6. In the "Filter by name" field type "Vedamo"
7. Click on the "+Add App" button below the "Vedamo" logo
8. In the modal window:
   • Configuration Type - choose By URL
   • Name field - enter Vedamo Virtual Classroom
   • Consumer Key field - enter the Consumer key from the Vedamo dashboard table
   • Shared Secret field - enter the Shared Secret from the Vedamo dashboard table
   • Launch URL - enter the Launch URL from the Vedamo dashboard table
9. Click on "Add App" to add the app to the course
