ReadSpeaker is a text to speech (TTS) provider with many built-in accessibility tools. ReadSpeaker believes in the UDL approach to learning by offering read aloud support to ALL learners, which aids in increasing comprehension using a bimodal learning experience. ReadSpeaker’s text-to-speech voices are created using voice actors, allowing us to customize pronunciations and acronyms for your institution. This product also includes the Optical Character Recognition (OCR) for scanned documents.

We integrate into major LMSs such as Blackboard, Canvas, Brightspace, Moodle & Open LMS via LTI, building blocks, or JavaScripts. Other LMSs, such as Schoology, Sakai, and more, integrate via an LTI.

ReadSpeaker is easy to install using an LTI, building block, or adding JavaScript to the theme area. Sandboxes are available, and instructions will be provided at that time.
