Lingco offers integration between Canvas and its platform. This integration provides the ability for the instructor and students to link from a Canvas course to access their Lingco course.
This integration is intended to be installed at the Canvas course level. Once installed, instructors will have the option to add Lingco into their course navigation for students to use to sign on.
In Lingco, to the course dashboard and click “Course Details” in the top-right corner to locate the consumer key and shared secret.

This external learning tool enables to sign on to Lingco from Canvas. Data is sent using the IMS LTI standard and all information is sent over HTTPS using the OAuth standard.
To connect, Canvas sends a token to Lingco. The user's course id, role, first name, last name, and email is also sent from Canvas to Lingco. If the user has an existing account, they're logged in. Otherwise, they're prompted to create a new account. The external learning tool does not send user account logins and passwords to Lingco.
