Security is a key design parameter for Grasple in its infrastructure, functionality and its policies.
Below are the key measures we take to ensure a secure processing of your data:
All data is secured and processed according to the General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) as set by the European Union. All traffic between client-server, server-API interactions, and server-DB communication are encrypted in transit. Stored data is encrypted at rest. Daily backups are made and kept for 14 days. All these backups are encrypted. Grasple is hosted on AWS using their security principles and options (VPCs, minimal IAM rights, 2FA, IP-Whitelisting, etc.) Personal Data is only shared with third-parties providing functionalities in the platform, in which case third parties are listed as subProviders in the DPA. Grasple has a role-based system ensuring users only get access to data in Grasple they are allowed to see. Grasple uses the roles from the LMS to determine the role of the user in Grasple. Grasple information and security policies are regularly audited by an independent auditor. Input of users is sanitized before being processed to prevent (SQL) injections.
