Pear Deck was founded by educators on a mission to help teachers create powerful learning moments for every student, every day. Pear Deck’s intuitive solutions guide teachers towards best practices in the classroom and are used in flexible learning environments around the world to connect with learners of every age and ability. With Pear Deck, educators can easily assess student understanding in real time, while facilitating student equity and creativity.

Educators using Google Apps for Education or Microsoft Office 365 apps like PowerPoint Online and Teams can easily add formative assessments and interactive questions to their classroom experience with Pear Deck. Pear Deck’s powerful Teacher Dashboard and Student-Paced Mode make it a must-have tool in flexible learning environments. New product enhancements include Add Audio, which allows educators using Pear Deck for Google Slides to record or upload audio files to each slide; and Teacher Feedback, which enables teachers to give students feedback on individual responses, prompting understanding, driving metacognition, and promoting a growth mindset in students.
